WHY CHOOSE US FOR SKIPPERED CHARTER?

EASILY REACHED FROM THE UK:  Our base in Skiathos harbour is only a short taxi ride from the island's International airport, which is served by several flights direct from various UK airports.

SUPERB CRUISING AREA: Skiathos is an ideal base for exploring the Northern Aegean. The island of Skopolos can be reached in a few hours sailing, with Alonnisos and Monastery Island (Pelagos) a further day or so away.

CRUISING AT YOUR PACE: Unlike flotilla sailing, there is no fixed itinerary. On your first evening, Andrew will discuss with you all the options available in the time you have booked. After that, it's up to you to decide how far you want to travel and what you want to see.

GREAT LOCAL KNOWLEDGE: Andrew, your skipper, is very experienced and has spent many summers cruising this area. He can give you the very best advice on where you might like to visit and what you might like to do.

WARM RECEPTION GUARANTEED: Andrew is well known and liked by the locals in the area and, as our guests, you too will be welcomed with open arms.

TO SAIL OR NOT - THE CHOICE IS YOURS!  Most of our guests like to take part in sailing the yacht, but don't feel that you will be forced to take an active role.

AT THE END OF THE DAY - MAGIC! Many people enjoy sleeping on deck under the stars and full-length cushions are provided for this purpose.

FULLY EQUIPPED FOR CRUISING: we set a very high standard and our yachts have many items on board that are not often found on the usual charter vessel.

AVOID THE CROWDS: on our holidays you are not bound to any pre-set itinerary and can always move on to a quieter harbour. Contrast this to a flotilla holiday, when up to seventy people could descend on a quiet port in an evening!

COME BACK - AGAIN AND AGAIN: Many of our guests are on their third or fourth trip with us and are regarded as friends, not customers. Why not give us a call or e-mail us and let us answer any other questions you may have about Greek Island Sailing?
